So here is an update I’ve actually gained weight and also I feel as though I’m starting to feel even more depressed. For a while I hadn’t been logging in mostly because I had 1 cheat day I felt bad and decided let’s make it 2 months worth of cheating . I think I’m now in a space to change my habit . Besides wanting the fat loss I think it is important that I start eating healthy and right , only eating what my body needs and not what my brain wants .

Came across this in an article today: As a society, our thinking is very all-or-nothing. We label foods as good or bad, healthy or unhealthy. We also like to rebel as humans. If we tell ourselves a particular food we like is off-limits and bad, we may not purchase it.” There’s just one problem: When we inevitably encounter these foods at events, restaurants or on takeout menus, we start to feel out of control. That leads us to assume we are “addicted” and can’t be trusted around these foods. This is not because of something in the food itself,” McCarthy explains. “Rather, it’s about the power we have given our thoughts about the food.” If you feel this way about carbs, McCarthy recommends looking into a process called habituation, which is often referred to in intuitive eating. Essentially: Make foods you’re hung up on available in your house, and don’t avoid them in social situations. Instead, aim to enjoy everything in moderation. “When we have these foods around, we know they’re there if we want them. That decreases the all-or-nothing thinking.”

I'm with you in that same boat. Exept that my cheat lasted up to about 6 months (no it sounds more like I just stoped with making healthier decisions, instead of cheating). Anyway I hade a goal to work towards (my wedding) last year Dec, and after the weddingnit was honeymoon and all the shinanigans. I kept saying I need to eat helthier again every Monday, and as you know it, 6 months have past an well I'm up 8kg again. But this is it, I'm done....... I felt so good losing all the weight for the wedding and now I only feel disgusting. That should be a motivation itself for me. So let's do this!

Don’t be hard on yourself for falling off. Maybe schedule weekly cheat meals to ease your mind? The most important thing is to go on the next day as if nothing happened. And all those bad days won’t matter when you reach your goal. The aim is to fail successfully😊
