Oh boy! I didn’t even weigh myself because of major fall backs this past week 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ve been indulging in my cravings and feeling so disappointed in myself 😔 I know this is part of the journey and the important part is not to give up and keep putting in the efforts. Not being so hard on myself. But shoot. It ain’t easy that’s for sure.
Snacking has been a big setback for me.
Ive been looking at pinterest for healthy snack ideas. I have to change what I snack on during movie/tv time. I made the mistake of buying the foods that i easily crave ( chips, chocolate) telling myself, “Ah! Once or twice it’s not that bad” but that’s exactly when I spiral downwards.

Any tried and true snacks that have helped you guys in your weight loss journey, please let me know! 🙏🏼☺️. Take care FS fam!

I’ve put hummus, a bit of cheese, and some sliced tomato on cucumber slices. Tasty and refreshing! I have to (theoretically/ideally!) watch my sodium so I sometimes snack on a small amount (15 g usually) of unsalted peanuts mixed with an equal amount of currants. It’s sweet and crunchy and doesn’t take much if I eat it *slowly!* - Good thing too, because it’s pretty high energy.

I’m glad you decided to try it, and that it worked for you. (My daughter just rolls her eyes when she sees some of the goofy looking combinations I come up with. But it’s keeping my weight stable so … “roll on, Big Mama!” 😂

Oh yes!! Watermelon, yum! So good! I bought some red grapes and been having those whenever my sweet thooth comes knocking at my door haha. I froze a few of them and been having them that way as well, as a frozen treat. Refreshing and sweet ☺️ Some watermelon is for sure getting picked up on my next trip to the grocery store, that’s gonna be really good too 😁🍉 !
