How does such a fast work, do you eat like zero for that 24 hours? And what about liquids? I'm seriously considering fasting myself too.

I generally don't really have an appetite during the day, so what I'll do for my 24-hour fast is I'll have dinner and then I'll only eat again the next night. So no food during that period and I only drink water & chamomile tea while fasting.
But that's what works for me, I love fasting because I really like big portions of food 😊 so then I don't have to worry about the calories as much.
A shorter fasting window might work better for you if you're just starting out with fasting, like a 16:8 or maybe you'll just smash a 24-hour, it really depends on you and what your body is telling you it needs, hope this was helpful!

Certainly is helpful, I was thinking of one meal only per day as well. But a 16:8 already will probably make me feel like the end of the world had struck me. Thanks for the advice.
