Here I am....I've fallen in to that trap.... not losing fast enough so I keep "falling off the wagon". It's like the walk of shame the next morning!

OK, I made the choice and threw caution to the wind when I was in Las Vegas, but I'm back now and I need to get serious. Last night I was at a Girl Scout event and ate pizza. With proper planning, I could have brought my own food and avoided the pizza (as anyone knows, just peeling off the cheese doesn't make for a terribly filling meal). But I did not plan so my defenses were down. Along came Little Ceasar.

I'm digging deep an looking for that source. I hope I can find it.

Twinie sorry that you are having a hard time right now. Can I make a suggestion....lose the Atkins bars for 2 weeks, and strick to just Induction foods and I think you will find that you are able to stick to plan much better. Some of the "convenience" products can cause cravings due to the sugar alcohols. If you can just get through those first couple of weeks, it will get easier and then you can go from there. Vegas is probably not the easiest place to stick to a lifestyle change, especially in the first weeks. Now that you have it behind you, you can really knuckle down and get things underway! Have a great rest of your weekend and if I can do anything to help, please let me know. Oh, and no more shame....we have ALL fallen a time or two on this walk, believe me...just remember that just because you fall doesn't mean you need to stay down...get up dust yourself off and continue on your journey. The only time we fail is when we quit. :)

Thank you for commenting on my journal. I love the feedback and the feeling of community! I read and read and read about these sugar alcohols, and I have not yet abandoned them. I should. I know. I don't believe they are causing cravings. Cravings don't seem to be my problem as much as *loss of control*. Control comes from planning. If I had planned, I may have been able to control what I ate. If I had prepared and brought my own meal, I would not have gone for the pizza. I do realise the sugar alcohols can cause stalls. I enjoy the Atkins bars and drinks for the convenience. I like the quick breakfast, the sweet treat and the availability of something that stays good in a wrapper and doesn't have to be prepared. I think I will ditch the yummies for a couple of weeks and see what happens.
