Diario de kbabee, 01 may. 09

I can't believe I'm actually up writing this right now but I had the greatest ideals and couldn't go to sleep without writing it down:]

My friend and I are deciding to be weight loss buddies for encouragement and motivation! We were going to start next week, but because today is May 1st and its a start of a new month, I think today would be an ideal time to begin my weight loss journey and have a fresh start.

April was not a good month. There was so much crash and yo-yo dieting, but it's almost summer and I won't have to be worrying about school and stressing over it and being bored which triggers emotional eating. So, I have a little more than three months during summer to lose these 20-30 pounds that i've been wanting to lose and keep off. Starting with mini goals is key to weight loss, cause then you don't feel pressured to lose so much all at one time. So my goals for May are:
1. Cut down portions
2. Exercise 5-6 days/week
3. *Lose 10 pounds*
4. Eat 5-6 mini meals/day
5. Sleep 8 hours/night
6. Break the binging habit & crash dieting!

I'm hoping that starting slow and taking one step at a time will help me feel better bout myself and make it less stressful to lose weight. Also, I decided that at the beginning of each month I should start with a 10 day detox diet to start every month off fresh. Just some thoughts:]

Things to keep me busy, prevent binge eating from boredom:
-clean my house
-paint my nails
-read
-study for finals
-EXERCISE!
