Calorie counting is easiest, worked like a bomb for me. In 3 months I lost 16 kgs, with little effort. For women you should try to stay between 1200 and 1500 kcal per day. Best way for that is to avoid any processed food, that stuff is loaded. Beans, split peas, vegetables and fruit are perfect, you can fill up and still won't go over the mark. And do some exercise every day, like walking through the neighborhood fast for 30 minutes.
