I did some Yoga today with TB. New instructor and she kicked my arse!! That was hard core.
The thing is, it says I only did, what, 1.5 METs? It didn't feel like 1.5. Maybe for her, but for me it was a workout! Anyway, I didn't feel light-headed or anything, but I did feel that my own body was getting in the way of me doing the poses.
Want to put right knee to chest? No. Stomach fat blocks way. New pose. But although I couldn't do all the poses, and like I said, it was an advanced class, it was survivable. I'm thinking of trying the Kickboxing class on Monday, but I know that'll be hard.
So far, the only class I have any "fun" in is the Dance class. Hopefully as the pounds go down, and the stomach comes in a bit so I can get some strength and flexibility, it'll become more of a "workout" and less of a "nightmare".
So far so good on the diet. I'm getting back into the swing of things. I LOVE this journal and Diet / Exercise record keeper. This is so much better than paying 50 bucks a month not to go to a WW meeting and use the online record keeper. It's a nice tool, but not worth that much.
I'm going to try and not weigh myself until next week. I don't want to get focused on the pounds again like I did before. I just want to start feeling good again.
