No not very sweet at all, the original recipe had 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup sugar. It was ok but I think missing a little bit of sweetness

Thanks Rachel and pc 😊 I think if you use the original amount of butter and sugar it would taste better but I am trying to cut down 😅

Nuticali I think I'd still only do half of the sugar as I don't have a lot of sugar either. I'll make them and let you know if it was the right amount of sugar or not.xx

Thanks Gem 19J and Shezzz 😊 I actually love sesame in sweet things. Reminds me of an amazing orange sesame polenta cake I used to buy in SF 😋 but that definitely wasn’t diet friendly!

The total I got was 2030kcal so 8 large pieces would be just over 250ea 😊
