Funny you should say that. Someone once said to me the same thing. Eat as if you are at your goal weight. If only it was that easy to control my emotional food addiction. Willing to try though!! Thank you for the advice :)

It's hard to see our numbers up! Don't stay in the beat down though! We've all been there.

We all have them, liers are the only ones that don't. You don't let them control your life, forgive yourself. I'm down to 190 from 389 and I still have them. Get back on your program, hit it strict, lose your gain and a few more. 2XDad-3X grandpa/1Xwidower.

not going to lie it took me years to get to where I don't use food as a point of focus in my life..... try finding something else to focus on that you are really passionate about.....
set up a specific eating plan and stick to it like a habit of brushing your teeth, taking a shower, feeding the kids, or getting them ready for school......
you don't see alcoholics with bottles of alcohol sitting around them at their house because an alcoholic is going to want to drink if it is there, same rule applies for us you have trouble saying no...... do not waste time by having it in your house then you don't even have to think about it..... one last thing that helped me was I started keeping as little processed food in the house as possible everything in my house I have to make myself from scratch..... it really helps
YOU GOT THIS AND WE GOT YOU.....
PS the first step is accountability and you did that by getting on here and stating that you are having trouble, you're already getting there!!!

So hard to be good all the time, I am finding when I have eaten and I'm still hungry it may be that your body is craving something to drink. So I drink water, I have bought a lemon mix and use little bits of it in my water. Or even soda water with some lemon or lime, that curbs my appetite some. Every little bit helps.

It's definitely a mind set. It you aren't ready mentally it won't work. You can do this!

Yep, have you tried or read up in Intermittent fasting? It's flexible and you can eat what you want, naturally though a clean diet with few treats. I am still trying to shift weight and its coming off slowly. Exercise us crucial.
Good luck
