Diario de Vickiauntmick, 21 mar. 14

I walked... don't laugh. I walked for 30 minutes in a circle on the 2nd floor of the Federal Building I work in. First REAL excercise I could record other than sitting, resting, or sleeping in MONTHS. I'm so lazy...lol.

So, because I'm a lazy slug, I have decided that the 1900 calories projected to lose weigh is way off for my slug metabloism. I changed it to 1500 calories instead. And, maybe, I might be a little more active in the near future since its getting warm again.

Good job! Hey -- some movement is better than no movement. I, too, am hoping for more activity once the weather improves. Will this winter ever end?????

Walking is a terrific exercise. You will be surprised how much body inches you will lose just by taking that walk every day! I've been walking outside and also using Leslie Sansone 1-mile indoors. It has been VERY helpful with re-training myself to activity. Good Luck!

Get exercise any way you can get it! If I can at work, I walk from my office to the auditorium and back. Extremely repetitive, but it can get me a mile, and every mile helps! I also recommend doing stairs (I assume your federal building probably has them). Years ago I had a trip to Peru plan with a Hike on the Inca Trail. My friend and I used our breaks to go up and down the stairs as many times as we could. Still didn't prepare me for the 4 day hike, but I probably would have dropped on the trail if we hadn't done them!
