After many unhealthy method of weight loss, I've given in to attempting keto. I'm not quite sure how to go about it though, because there's a lot of conflicting information out there, but I'm trying my best with what I've found. I currently calorie count. Last week I was eating 1600 calories, but I was lethargic by the end of the week so I upped it to 1700 calories and intend to up it each week. Is that counterproductive? I strive to maintain below 20g of net carbs per day and am praying this works this time. For 4 years I've been trying to lose 20 kgs, managed to lose the first 10 and keep it off until February this year, when my weigh in revealed I had put on 5kg and put myself back into the 70s. I started this journey at 78.9 kgs initially, now I start it at 71. I hope to weigh 60kgs by the end of this, if not 55. Here's the catch though, I can't weigh myself. I end up becoming emotionally overwhelmed and cry all day like I've lost a loved one if the scale disappoints me, and in the past this has lead to a week of starvation followed by a weekend of binging, and the cycle would go on. I'm trying to break that this time. Let's see how it goes.
