Had some nan bread with dinner last night, slowly and steady getting the number is going down...have to keep it real.

Bought myself flowers the other day...first time ever! For every 10 lbs I lose I'll be buying myself flowers. They sit in our front room and I catch myself looking at them several times a day and smiling, know that I HAVE lost 10lbs! Long ways to go, but it's a start and 10 more than I weighed when I started. This has been such a great visual for me! :)

I understand the concept. Love the flower idea. I bought myself a new wig for every ten lbs I lost. Hey, I figured it was better than buying clothes that I planned to outgrow or going out to dinner and putting the mess back on!!! I now have a wardrobe of wigs which I don't wear cause I like my long blonde hair, but they are there if I want to dress up for Halloween! Lol, what we don't do for motivation! You can do this, I am rooting for you!

That is a great idea! I've been trying to think of rewards but they all seemed pretty weak... I think because they were non-visual and very momentary.

The flowers is a great idea! I love them and what a great reason to buy them.

Thanks everyone for your kind words and support. This truly is a great group! :) That was exactly what I was thinking Kattay, didn't see the point in buying clothes in sizes I am going to surpass. I've done the "reward" with food obviously or I wouldn't be in this situation trying to lose the weight. So this is all with a new mind and attitude and it's all about me and my health.
