To reduce weight replace Dinner with fruits, even scientists says we should eat less at night and more in morning we do completely opposite
It's even written in ayurveda eat like a king in morning, eat like a poor at night.

Fruits are always good. Nuts I don't know much.

Nuts are high in fat, so take in very limited quantity, have salad instead of rice/wheat plus fruit(remember mango, and banana are high in calories so don't eat daily and if so consume 1-2 max), other fruits are ok
