Brand new territory! I am now 8 pounds from my present goal of losing 100 pounds! I am quite pleased with this loss. I have totally wiped out the last couple of gains and am charting new weight territory. This is highly gratifying as last week I recorded a 0.8 gain that I chalked up to a 'course correction'. I may find next week hard going to maintain this loss as a 1.6 loss can sometimes rebound a bit. I will continue to do what I have been doing with the expectation that it will all come out in the wash.
One change that I have implemented this past week (and maybe the week before?) is to move my largest meeting to breakfast (always had that), then next largest to lunch (that was a switch) and the smallest meal to supper (felt kind of weird at first!). There has been a number of positives in this plan - first of all I am not as hungry when supper comes around. Next I have been eating my soup meal in this slot and find that I am both comfortable and not over full at bedtime. No matter what order I put my meals in, I am often looking for something sweet at the end of the day. I am eating fruit with some nuts. I think I will add some date puree to that mix instead of honey which I have done.
My renos continue to move along. This week doors have been hung - they had to be coated in varathane and sanded as they are hardwood doors, more trim has been made, the last of the grouting is done, the stairs are plywood clad in readiness for wood and tile being put on, the half wall of barnboard has been put into the gathering space (this looks amazing - it is wood I took off an old out building last summer), pod lights are all installed and drop ceiling is done shy of some panels that should come in next week. The fellows are figuring 1-2 weeks from completion!
