Diario de Paige E, 12 ene. 09

My scale is finally moving again!! And that makes me want to be really good. It keeps me inspired - THIS EATING RIGHT THING REALLY WORKS!!

TOM has left, and I'm back to weighing in daily. I really like to do that because it keeps me on track. AND - I've hit my next goal - to be below 240! My next mini-goal is to get to 225. I can't even tell you how long it has been since I've weighed 225.

I have bacon in the oven right now and it smells so good. I haven't had it in a long time. I tend to retain water so bad that I kind of dropped it from my diet. But its early in the week and it sounded like a good treat. I'll drink lots of water for the rest of the day and hopefully won't see a rise in the scales tomorrow. If I do, then I'll know exactly what it was!!

I was thinking of my girlfriend Sandy, this morning, who lost a lot of weight on Atkins. I remember her telling me that she ate a pound of bacon five mornings a week!!! I, obviously, couldn not do that!!!

This challenge is really helping me stay focused. It has made me start journalling my food again - which has been a BIG help. And I love this weeks mini-challenge about reviewing your habits from the week before. BRILLIANT!

6 slices of bacon = 0C

2 cups romaine lettuce = 2C
parmesan cheese = 1C
ceasar dressing = 4C

homemade chili without beans = 10C

2 s/f candies = 1C

1 glass milk = 11C

TOTAL = 29C

Yeah I know I shouldn't really have milk. But who can have chili without milk??? Sure made me go over in carbs!!! EEEK!!!

Glad you are doing so well!!! I don't eat that much bacon either but don't you just love the smell of bacon in the kitchen, knowing all the while, that you get to eat it and still lose weight?!?!?!? It's wonderful!! =)

Congrats on the loss! I don't like eating even 2 slices of bacon (but I do!) cause it bloats me!

LOL! (to "THIS EATING RIGHT THING REALLY WORKS!!") WOOT for MINI GOALS!!!!!!! Great job! I think we lose faster if we eat bacon in moderation. You don't have to eat a pound of it to lose weight. In fact a couple of pieces will hold me for hours. I don't eat it the day before weigh-in because of the salt. ;)
