Okay, running was debunked by the territorial peacock again. My dog barked at it for 5 minutes as the peacock kept coming at us.
I think I need a new running route.

I hate to laugh but that is amusing :) A new route sounds like a good idea if the territorial peacock is claiming the one you are currently on. Just for curiosity's sake do you know if it was a male or female? :D

It's a male. He is absolutely gorgeous, but I'm curious as to why he is so aggressive since I thought it was the females that were.

Normally yes. Hmm, it might be that the nest is near by, or the hen in the nest and he feels the need to threaten any "predators" away. And I agree, the colours on the males are quite exquisite :)

That or some bird feed.....or mace. Lol though I've never met an agressive peacock. I use to dodge a pair of disgruntled ducks. Food to distract them worked really well.
