So, I took the plunge and actually weighed myself. I have three scales in my house and I have buried them for so long, I needed the help of my husband to dig one out (It was hidden in the downstairs bathroom cupboard). I estimated my current weight at 235 lbs. I just weighed and my current weight is 229.5 lbs. So I updated my start weight to 230. Well, it may not be as bad as I thought but its more than I weighed at the end of both of my pregnancies.
My biggest obstacle right now is to avoid those pesky non-nutritious carbs. You know, the ones that are sweet, gooey and almost better than the "s" word. I have joined two challenges to help me get there ... 30 lbs down by 2014 (OMG!!!!) and be bold, be honest ... starting recording exactly what I consume everyday (:-o). I am up to the challenges. I can do this! I will do this! I must do this! ROAR!
