Diario de POWENCH, 29 oct. 08

Well I had great plans to continue my walk/run and do Yoga, but my body had other ideas. My lower back and knees decided to go on a major strike...so I decided to continue the housework and take it a bit easier. I am worried that if this keeps up it will derail my weight loss and my good exercise plan, but I can only hope for the best and take care of myself.

Tomorrow I will start back again.

I did good with food today...I did start to react with food as I got more disgusted with my back and knee...need to be careful of that issue.

I have also been having problems with back and foot (and fatigue and joint pains) directly related to increased exercise and was afraid it was going to completely derail me. A couple of fitness gurus on the web (specifically webMD.com) refer to these pains as "overtraining." Give yourself a break, let the muscle build, and then go back to it.

I know about the back and knee problems!! Sometimes, have to give up, and not do your exercise, but other times you just have to charge through it! If its not to bad, try and get it done, I'll bet the yoga would be good for your back anyway!!
