I'm not surprised I gained weight this week, although it is disappointing. I slacked a bit over the weekend. My family celebrated my birthday and I had a small piece of cake and some ice cream. But it really stinks that I can't even enjoy a bit of indulgence without gaining weight. I also had some peanuts and a beer but with that done, I know how sensitive my body is and I need to just stick to my 20 carbs. When I was on Atkins years ago and I started adding fruit back in, all my cravings came back so I'm afraid to do that. I've been on Atkins now since Aug 10 and basically have stayed on induction. I'm comfortable there, so I guess that's where I'll be staying for now!
