I realized that even though I am eating healthy, my carb intake is still too high. I love fruits and they are the easiest thing for me to snack on while at work. I've been experiencing issues with low blood sugar so I am trying to eat every 2 hours. I read over the idea protein diet and see that my fruit intake may be hindering my progress so I am going to attempt to eat more raw/fresh veggies while at work and high protein meats. Looks like yet another trip to the grocery store is in order.

If you have issues with low blood sugar despite your frequent snacks, try to start your day with a lot of protein (like 30g) and a minimal amount of carbs. I find if I eat a breakfast with lots of carbs, I'm snacking like crazy until lunchtime, and then craving candy in the afternoon. But if I start my day off with sufficient protein, I don't even get the snack cravings. Nuts are a good low-carb snack, but beware they have a lot of calories!

Thanks so much for the advice! I'm trying really hard to eat right and do what's beat for my body, but it's hard to figure it out without going through the trial and error issues.
