well once again another week is over.. where does it go, anyways I am headed to visit the family again this weekend which usually means trouble. I am headed to carb heaven, I will try and hit up a walmart to get the atkin shakes to hold me over till I get back. My son is turning 11 which means cake, I love cake... maybe just one bite and then I will give the rest of the cake away, ya right I dont think he will let me.

Try eating something before serving the cake. This will hopefully prevent you from partaking in it. While you might think it'll be worth the one little bite, remember that when you kick yourself out of ketosis it will take you 3 days to get back to it. Is that temporary desire worth ruining all of your hard work? You can do this. Like I said, eat before and make sure you have a sweet substitute on hand. This way you wont be missing out.

Im sorry but I disagree with the previous comment. I don't do atkins or know much about it but I do know everyone messes up, makes mistakes and can still see success! That's been my experience and yes it is hard but honestly sometimes eating that cake IS worth it. I refuse to starve myself or deprive myself of anything I enjoy. I will lose the weight, I just have to keep moderation in mind. Good luck to you!
