Happy 4th of July for everyone here in the USA! Have a great, long weekend everyone, I know most people (except medical personnel, fire and police) have the day off. I used to be medical - so we rarely had holidays off, one got a few a year - a choice, so to speak - rarely a day off when one wanted. I am going away till Monday, I did not put food entries in as I did not eat well anyway as I was sickly from a migraine. I am going camping, we are expecting 90s for weather all weekend. I will likely go swimming. Be back Monday...

Here's a tip I came up with if you ever need to travel or camp. SAVE those plastic containers that have zippers from pillowcases and sheets. They store all of your items. I noticed some cheap ones in the store and they cost $5. You get them when you buy sheets or pillowcases, save them for traveling, or camping, etc.

Thanks Buffy. I was so sick the past few days. I am glad I am feeling better too. I think I was sick from the Lidocaine. I will tell the doctor. The dog will have fun camping. Her first owner took her all the time. I did not know him well even though he was a neighbor. My dog is very attached to me, my friend came over last night and she did not want to go for a walk with him. And so I know she is happy with me. Dogs and cats can be like children. Especially dogs - they need more attention.

Glenn, SO glad your migraine finally broke and that you have again decided to go camping! It only adds to the fun to take your dog along with you. She sounds like she is so lucky to have a very caring owner! ;) That's a great tip regarding the containers by the way, thanks. Have a great Fourth!

Hey Glenn,,so glad your able to go on your trip.. save those too..they are very handy for lots of things..Awww yes your doggie loves you..you are her best friend..there is nothing like a love of a dog..Enjoy your time away from home..and be safe...:O)
