So I'm finally catching on to this "portion and food choice" control thing and I am GLAD about it. In less than one year (6-months), I have lost nearly 20lbs. AMAZING.

MY FAT SECRET is Chipotle Chicken Salad with Cheese, Sour cream and red sauce - ON THE SIDE instead of ON my salad. This way I can manually control the fat portions of my salad. The remainder of the salad consists of lettuce, black beans, fire roasted tomatoes and chipotle chicken.

THAT is my goto meal when I'm hungry and don't know what to eat, otherwise, I've been cooking and eating at home. Portion and content control have been enormous in my success in dropping these pounds.

I don't exercise as much as I a would like, but even that's improving on a sly. Yes. I'm sneaking in exercise via the Nintendo Wii JUST DANCE 1, 2 and 3. I do it in front of my double mirror doors in the bathroom on rectified tile. I look silly, but as a result of, I'm also looking SLIMMER.

This is the first journal I have submitted, because I wanted to find something that could work for me, before encouraging you to find your way whilst I too, were lost.

I would also suggest asking your doctor for an appetite suppressant, (wether RX or over the counter). It's hard to watch your portions if you're ALWAYS hungry. I've heard other FAT SECRET.com'ers refer to trying psyllium husk and metamucil as a way of helping to curb their appetite, by giving them a "FULL EFFECT."

I think an appetite suppressant may help because, if your discipline is low, your calorie intake could end up being way higher than you intended -- no matter how HEALTHY contents of the the meal is.

I started at 197 and today I am 178. OH HAPPY DAY.
