Not everyone is bad. 

Wow, Glenn, this was...interestingly cryptic. There are good and not so good people in all cultures, in all races, in all countries. There isn't any one country that has a monopoly on sweet or nasty--just depends on the individuals. I don't know how many places around the globe that you've lived or worked (not just visited briefly on vacation), but the more one has, usually the more they are able to see no differences... I lived in the Philippines a year and a half. I was never treated with disrespect. Never. Here the whole public seems to be nuts. I am likely to leave the USA if I get published. Not everyone is bad, but there is so much trouble. The woman who ticked me off today was white too, so it has nothing to do with race. Just rude people - ready to stir up trouble. I am going away for a time.  

I am going camping. 

A-holes are every where, bro!! Brush off those suckas and forgive them for being ignorant, selfish, jackasses :) 

Hope you get rejuvenated and stay away from bears...they might be crabby too. Lots of them have been attacking people lately. Maybe the entire planet is reaching some sort of "you p8ss me off" mentality. The older I get the more I realize that there is no respect for people anymore. It is all me, me, me I could care less about you out there.  

Yes,Kmunson. I am not crabby, just a wicked migraine. Two days now. Anyway, yes people are getting rude. The ones who can't afford it are having numerous, and the ones who can afford five or six kids are only having a few with this 'me' mentality in our society. I never married, so I don't have kids to worry about, I would not want to be responsible for allowing kids to be born here. 

Keep smiling anyway Glenn. No one can that away from you. 

Deep breath, Glenn. Take a look around you here on FS. So many pleasant people everywhere, and MANY are Americans! We're always gonna meet jerks out there in the real world, but don't let them get you down. Remember this wise saying: "Never argue with an idiot. They'll pull you down to their level and beat you with experience". :) Have a great day! 

Thanks yerdua and Kingkeld, raven, Bren and everyone else. I have had a migraine - very bad one for two days. I don't want to go camping. I have to take a shower, walk my dog and then I am going back to bed.

Aww. Sorry people are getting to you. Enjoy your break. 

I may stay home, I have the worst migraine. I slept all night and all day. It is really what helps best, but I am in no shape to go camping.  

Headaches are the worst - hope you feel better soon! 

It broke overnight, finally. I think I had a bad reaction to Lidocaine that had been injected into my neck muscles.  

At least you can enjoy the holiday now.

I have migraines sometimes. I used to get them so bad I would have to go in a room and shut all the lights off, not move and keep a damp cloth on my head. If I heard even the slightest sound it would start pounding and paining worse. I tried Topamax and it made my hands feel like I had arthritis, I could barely hold my steering wheel while driving. Other people said Topamax made them stupid. I agree, but luckily not permanently, LOL.
