We brought home an Austrialian Shephard mix, white with black spots, 11 months and 45 lbs. Mattie is still full of puppy energy. She has been running circles around the backyard and our 3yr old Blue Heeler. The two seem to get along okay, Jasmine seems to have "only child syndrome" but I am sure that won't last long. It feels good to rescue Mattie from the SPCA center where she wasn't hurting but the space was small and loud, lots of big, barking dogs. I heard lots of dogs from the coast were moved this week to several states in case anyone wants rescue their own new friend.
