Good morning all! I do not know how good of a morning it is because I got up this morning and to my suprise gained a pound. I can't understand why. I know I do not post my food journals as I should but I just keep a really busy schedule BUT I always stay within the 20 carbs ALWAYS!!! The only thing I could think of is that I drank like 6 bottles of water yesterday but isnt that supposed to make you lose weight? Iwas trying to drink more water to knock of the pounds. I also went home and did my 30 mins worth of zumba. I can't seem to understand I really thought I would be at 215 this morning instead of 217. I am so dissapointed. Well I have a couple questions is it possible to drink to much water? I also know that I haven't had a bowel movement in 2 days I haven't had my MIM but I did take my fiber pills to help. Can someone throw me some positive input? Im feeling down in the dumps.

Don't let it get you down too much. The scales just like to psych us out once in a while. It will be gone again in no time.

I hope it will but it really is depressing not to see the numbers not go anywhere. I was trying to see if anyone had any feedback as to if it is possible to drink to much water.

I don't think it's possible to drink too much water, at least not the way you're thinking. Of course, if you had a lot of really salty things yesterday, more water might be retained for a day or so. Still, you might find it beneficial to do a weekly average of your weight. Otherwise, you'll drive yourself crazy worrying about every tenth of a pound. It makes sense (somehow) to be worried about every tenth when you first start out because you want to see the scale go down, even just a wee bit. But once you're well on the way, like you are with over 30 pounds already gone, the normal, minor fluctuations in weight measured in tenths might even be due to your scale's accuracy.

Bates, stop weighing yourself everyday. It is just going t make you crazy like Sandy says. The amount of salt, the amount of food in your bowel, the amount of exercise, the amount of fluid you are retaining all play major roles in the daily fluctuations of the scale. Don't sweat the petty stuff, or as a friend of mine says "Don't pet the sweaty stuff!" You are doing awesome!!

Bates, I weigh every day and fluctuate a lot. If I don't have a bowel movement each day I will gain the next day. It's probably that... I also gain when I'm about to start TOM.
