Yesterday I went to have my teeth cleaned. Since I had been there in March these folks hadn't seen me since I started my diet. Absolutely every female in the office commented on my weight loss. It was very gratifying. Also I was wearing a new rose-coloured shangtung skirt that has an actual waist... no elastic. Definitely a pick-me-up despite still being sick.

I'm at work today but my head is totally stuffed up and I have no energy. Can I haz health back pls?

I don't care what anyone says about it needing to be an internal thing, it's so wonderful when people on the outside comment. No matter how much we want to do this for ourselves, what people say/think makes a huge difference. Yeah you!

Wow, Rowan, you are doing amazing!!! Congratulations! isn't it awesome when someone notices and tells you about it? I had the same experience during my walk the other night. A neighbor stopped their car, and asked me just how much weight I had lost! lol You should have seen her face when I told her 64 pounds! Her chin probably has a bruise from where it hit the steering wheel!! lol Keep up the great work!! You will be at goal before you know it!

It is internal for the most part because your leading yourself to a wonderful and healthier you. BUT and that is a big BUT when people start noticing you and telling you how great you look it really ups your motivation and makes you feel great. SO keep up the good work.
