So many things to say!!

First – DID YOU GUYS KNOW THAT LORIK IS BACK????? I’m so happy. I missed her smart alekness (is that a word?).

And what’s with this telling stories about me on davie’s journal, BA? I WAS NOT IN THAT CABANA. There is no proof. And that is not a hickie on my neck. I burnt myself with a curling iron……(tee hee…..). And I’m sorry about those burgers……I TOLD you I liked McDonald’s. Sometimes…..

(my life is so much more exciting when BA tells it!!!)

I didn’t mean to send anyone into a tizzy because I haven’t journaled for a couple days. My internet has been sporadic, at best. Probably won’t be fixed until next week because of the holiday weekend. So, I’M SORRY. But thanks for worrying about me….I feel loved.

Anyway, now to the serious stuff.

With the 20 CARB CHALLENGE coming up quickly I just want you all to know that the SAPPHIRES ARE GOING TO RULE this challenge!! I don’t want you all to just concede now….but I want you to prepare for our greatness and begin to pay homage.

But besides that, I need to be honest about a few things before this challenge starts. I have a feeling that my first week is going to be really hard. I have let some bad habits back into my life the last couple months. And this is not all about dieting. I am also working on remembering the person that I am and getting my life back. So I want to take this opportunity to cleanse my soul and lay it all out on the line.
1. I have been drinking pop. This is so unusual for me. I have never been a big pop drinker. But I have been having 3-4 Pepsi’s a week for the last month. That is bad. NO MORE.
2. I have been eating a lot of sugar. I buy candy about three times a week. And I have ice cream about that much, too. NO MORE.
3. I have stopped exercising. NO MORE.
4. I have stopped taking my vitamins. NO MORE.
5. I do not leave the house very often. I used to be so involved in my community and I have lost that somewhere. NO MORE.
6. I have not been very social. I have said “no” when friends want to meet for a drink or go out for dinner or ask me to come visit. NO MORE.

So here are my pledges for the next four weeks to get my life back:
1. I pledge to limit my DIET pop intake to 1-2 times a week.
2. I pledge to eat no more than 2 Atkins bars a week.
3. I pledge to begin a walking program on Tuesday. I will set aside time each day, to walk.
4. I pledge to take my vitamins again.
5. Before the end of the four weeks, I pledge to introduce yoga back into my life.
6. I pledge to begin writing again.
7. I pledge to work on visualizing my goals and find ways to keep me motivated by using principles of ‘THE SECRET’ and other resources.
8. I pledge to begin volunteering again.
9. I pledge to seeking out new friends and go out of my way to see my old friends.
10. I pledge to pursue, with new earnest, my consulting career.


Ten Pledges. I will begin this challenge by posting my TEN PLEDGES on my bathroom mirror.

NOW…..Now I’m ready.
