OK- full tilt. Got the trainer, and insane eating regimen (one protein/carb at every meal). And, the meals are frequent! I'm doing weights followed by cardio twice a week, plus an additional 2 days of cardio, minimum. To stay interested, I've been changing up the cardio (Zumba/Music Video Dance Class/various machines), but the food is killing me. I'm so sick of chicken and fish right now! I had no idea how little protein I was eating until I really paid attention. I tend to lean toward veggie combos and derivatives.
PS- the recipe section here is really helpful. I'm dying to try the mini turkey meatballs!
My NEW Mantras: 1. Nothing from a can (tuna/tomatoes/etc.) 2. No wheat (beer/bread/pasta) 3. No fruit or complex carbs after 1pm (unless going to trainer, then 4pm) 4. No stock/bouillon 5. PROTEIN! 6. VEGGIES! OATMEAL! BROWN RICE! YAMS! 7. Eat every 2 hours 45 minutes 8. More Garlic! Bland flavor is the enemy. 9. Dymatize: Elite Whey Protein Shakes taste like Yoohoo! 10. Sugar Free Popsicles really take the edge off.
