why does work have to be stressful, people take stuff way overboard and it makes me fill guilty i'm ready for the weekend. But did good still not sure if i'm getting enough calories in but i don't know what else to do. not enough time in the day to eat and i don't want to eat right before bed.

I hear you about job stress! I looked at your diet history and the only thing I can say is add more veggies. You are doing okay with calories, I guess, I don't eat much more than 1,200 a day but you are not getting your net carbs in veggies. You need to eat more green stuff. I usually enter my veggies under "snacks" - that way I can see at a glance how many net carbs of veggies I've eaten - hope this helps. Good Luck

I am VERY lucky my hubby does all the cooking and although he is not on Atkins he is very supportive. So veggies at dinner are generally cauliflower/broccoli/brussel sprouts - not all at the same time - LOL -and lately a few green beens but they are high in carbs so I avoid them. I also try to do some kind of salad veggie ie tuna on lettuce for lunch with peppers (green and red) to munch on. Or a mixed green salad with celery, radishes, cucumber. Salads generally average about 7 net carbs which I feel is high but as friends point out its good food so good for you. I do like the Atkins bars but I save them for when I'm stuck - like going to a coffee shop with friends who will have donuts - then I have my bar - or if I'm travelling and don't know where its "safe" to eat. I'm not too adventurous with veggies - I like what I like. I have found though that a protein shake for breakfast holds me until lunch time and isn't high in carbs. Have a look around my diary - you will see alcohol - August was full of birthdays and celebrations - but I have still managed to lose although alcohol is a "no go" in phase one. Thanks for the advice i will try and fix some veggies for snack instead of beef jerky and cheese maybe i could get my net carbs better if i do that. And yes Alcohol is hard for me to stay away on weekends i like to set back bbq and drink a beer or 2. but i know i have to get back on track the next morning. thanks again buddy. :)
