Just under 1700 calories and I had to fight myself to eat that much. I wasn't hungry. I wasn't stuffed, but still, I really do prefer to eat when I'm hungry or how do you know when to stop? And the food tastes so much better when you're hungry. As my father says, 'Hunger is the best spice'. Hands down. It's so much more fun to REALLY enjoy what I'm eating. It's going to be very hard getting used to eating more than 1500 calories a day. I feel like it's a 'cheat' day. 2000 a day? That seems impossibly high. I don't believe the fat secret calorie estimate. According to that, I'm very active (work out/run/swim most days of the week) and if I'm trying to simply maintain it says 2500 calories a day. Now that is truly a ridiculous number. 2500 is a golden corral, eat everything in sight day. An O'Charley's deep fried fish day. An as much as I can eat frozen yogurt day. I'm not willing to even try to experiment with that number to see what happens. I'll try to go up to 1700 a day with an occasional cheat day and see what happens after a couple weeks.
