It's my first ever gold star anniversary at WW tonight! A year at my goal weight, never managed that before :) I think that continuing to attend and tracking everything, both here and on my WWDiary app (not the official one!), have been key to this success. Sometimes people say 'you're not going to do that forever tho, are you?' but for now it's what works for me - and as I recently said in a forum (but was sadly misunderstood) you wouldn't knock an alcoholic for continuing to attend AA meetings! So this is kind of the same, this eating lark is my weakness, and I'm doing whatever it takes to keep it under control. How that will pan out in the long term remains to be seen, but for now if it ain't broke, don't fix it! I think if I lose weight tonight at my weigh in, I will set myself the goal of going for the 50lb certificate :)

Well done you, I agree, it is a lifelong thing. Although you don't want to 'diet' forever, I think you do always need to keep track or you will keep yo-yo'ing. Honestly well done, on being on track for a year, that is huge :-)

Thank you. Sometimes I've found maintaining harder than the actual losing, but I guess that's down to getting used to relaxing the control a bit. I got my gold star this eve, and lost half a pound as well, so I'm going to give it a go to lose 3 lb more to get my 50 lb certificate. I don't think it will happen quickly but we'll see. If I could manage half a pound most weeks I could achieve it by my birthday, which would be timely :-)
