hi intensity workouts...was listening to a different mp3 i downloaded several weeks ago....when i was doing my morning walk...its not about walkin farther, its about walking faster for a certain amount of time and gettin your heart rate up..an then having like a cool down time..where you walk at a more normal walking rate ...like you would to go to your car...and then taking your walkin time bck up to a faster pace...back an forth...hi intensity workouts burn more calories then walking farther ...according to the mp3 i was listening to this morning and...keeps burning the calories even after the workout is over...just my 2 cents worth ....lol...have a great day...

AMEN! You are right on the money - Honey - with that high intensity approach. You go Guy! I USED to measure my walk in units of time: "I walked an hour today. I walked two hours today." I BURNED OUT QUICK. Now I walk as fast as I can. Fast and furious - that's us!

I'm gonna try this when I walk in the morning. I need to get moving quickly to beat the band. I need to make a favorites list that will give me the alternating beats.

I swim at night, I do 3 songs that are really fast or motivational ("Stand" by Rascal Flats, is excellent for dieting)I motor it for those 3 songs, and then 1 of relaxing. Make sure they are songs that work with you, sorry that sounds silly, but if I listen to sad songs I am not as motivate to push myself. I am slowly working my way to more fast and less slow.

i dont listen to sad songs or slow songs either...they dont motivate me...only upbeat music does it for me
