I'd like to give myself credit for the things I've done right so far this week. I'm usually beating myself up for mistakes but I have a few things to be proud of. I had a serious craving for chocolate today. I was in the grocery store and the candy bars were talking to me. I thought about maybe getting some dark chocolate, but I didn't see any, so I didn't get anything. After that, I went to Hardee's to get myself a turkey burger for lunch. I wanted to order some French fries sooo badly, but I fought the urge. I had my turkey burger and water, and I was very satisfied. I worked out hard in zumba last night, and I got up this morning and went to the gym. I did an hour of weight training :) Patting myself on the back.

Hi Lisa, Thank you for the comment and encouragement you left for me on my last journal entry. I really appreciate it! Regarding your chocolate craving; do you have a friend you see often? You could buy a bag of chocolate kisses and give the bag to your friend. Instruct them to only give you one piece after you beg for it. You can have a nice shame filled snack. LOL. Hang in there. Remember, it's not how you look it's how you feel.

lol. That's an interesting idea. My friend would probably eat all the chocolate kisses lol. I got some Kemps chocolate frozen yogurt (low fat). It's delicious. I have to use some restraint with it, but it definitely does the trick.

VERY very well done! I know how hard it is to resist the things we want so badly - I'm definitely a chocoholic myself - so just skipping it because you couldn't find the dark chocolate is simply amazing in my book. I'm frickin' proud of you. And well done choosing the turkey burger, sans fries! You just saved yourself a lot of (probably overly greasy) calories. :) I'm glad to see that you're celebrating your success. Did you see the post in the forum about the little successes? If I were you, I'd post this in there. :)
