127. I'm going to try very hard to maintain here for a month or two. Give the skin on my stomach a chance to firm up. It's firm everywhere else - except maybe just a very small amount on the thighs. My stomach looks fine unless I tighten the muscles. Then I can see the lax skin. And I'm starting to get a six pack which I find unattractive on anyone. I've tried reading about skin tightening but it's impossible to find anything useful. From almost everything can be tightened to nothing can be tightened to everything in between. My own theory - if you lose a pound to three pounds a month it takes 6 weeks to firm that up. If you have 100 pounds to lose I have no idea whatever. I still think it will firm up after a year or two if you maintain that long. I think it continues to tighten for a couple years if it's loose, and possibly very slowly after that, but I don't intend to ever find that out first hand. I'm 51. My skin has tightened just fine. I have loose skin under my chin but - well, I'm 51. I work out, I climb, I try to do aerobics a couple times a week, but don't usually succeed. I will with the running now though. and biking. and swimming. If the scale starts creeping back up I'll go back on the diet. It's time to start learning how to maintain again. I did it for years without thinking about it so it shouldn't be too hard once I get used to it. I may need to increase the calories a bit from maintenance level since I'm training for the sprint triath but 2000 seems pretty high for maintenance so I'll give it a week or so and adjust from there. For now, setting my calories to 2000.
