How do you make the steam bread

Hello buddyshep! This is one of recipes from a Japanese site, but here’s how... Beat an egg in a microwaveable container (if you’re against microwaving food, this may not be for you😅) Add the followings and mix well:- ➡️Soybean powder (soy pulp powder) 1 Tbsp+1 tsp *you can make cacao version when you replace that “+1 tsp” to cacao powder ➡️Stevia 1 Tbsp ➡️Water 1.5 Tbsp ➡️Milk 1 Tbsp ➡️Oil 2~3 drops Once all these are mixed, add 1 tsp baking powder and mix well Place the container in a microwave and heat up for 3 mins. This recipe called for 500 watts for 3 mins. Adjust the heating time depending on your microwave. To be continued...

Part 2 as I couldn’t finish all in my first recipe 😆 The size of container wasn’t specified in the recipe but I used a container size 5x10 cm?! If you are not eating yet, you can cool down and wrap in a cling film, and store in a fridge. Cacao version one, don’t expect any sweet chocolate type 😝 perhaps you can spread healthy Nutella or something like that. Soybean powder I mentioned in this recipe is called OKARA powder in Japanese. If you go to a well stocked Japanese shop, you might be able to find. I haven’t tried this with other powder like almond and coconut flour though, so if you try with others, please let me know! I’d love to know if you make one and see how you like it! My kids and hubby liked it too and they aren’t on keto!

One more note... the amount you make with the ingredients are what you see in the pic. I cut in half to make square shape, then slice side ways(?) to make it thin, which makes total of 4 thin square slices. I suppose you can try increasing the ingredients to make a bigger one or several of them in one go, but you gotta play around, I guess. Good luck!🥰
