Well this is my 3rd day had a good night but when i went to bed last night i was hungry is that normal?

As you work into the Atkins way of eating you will find that the protiens and fat that you eat and enjoy will keep you fuller longer. It is hard to believe but even at 350 pounds and only averaging about 1500-2000 calories a day I am practically NEVER hungry. So, as you get into the swing of it hunger will become less and less of an issue and also sugar cravings will virtually dissapear if you can stay on plan. Good luck!!!!

Could also depend on what time you last ate. If you ate too long before bed I can see why you might be hungry. But usually being hungry is a sign that you need to up your fat. The higher fat you consume, the more satiated you will be. Typical fat percentages should be 60-70%. Too litte will explain this.

Ya the time i ate supper was 6:30 and didn't eat anything after so maybe in need to eat something later. Thanks i will try that tonight.

I too enjoy bacon as a snack. I used to avoid bacon in my never-ending and unsuccessful low-fat dieting days. Now bacon is oddly a staple in my diet. (I pop two slices in the microwave for 2 minutes to avoid the fry pan mess. Works like charm!)

I make an entire package or two in my electric skillet on Sunday, weigh and package up in baggies that I can just heat in the micro. It's makes breakfast or snack in a hurry much easier.
