Diario de dwhummers, 01 jul. 08

I am NOT weighing in----not yet. Gotta get this TOM stuff out of my system, and quit indulging in the Cool Whip every night, and yeah gotta cut back on the almonds and cashews,too. That chocolate truffle that I wanted for my birthday will just have to wait, doesn't look like I will make minus 40 lbs by the 7th, 6 more lbs to go....................

NOT BAD!! You are doing so well. Don't worry too much about not making it the perfect timing on your next mini-goal. You will only be a week or so off. I am trying to get to the point where I make compromises with myself like you are doing. It just shows how far you've come!

Maybe skip the truffle, but reward yourself with a new outfit because of how far you HAVE come. :) (I'd say eat the truffle too, but not if you don't think it's worth cravings and gains coming back, even if temporary).

Sure even if you lost 3 of those 6lbs... how good would that be. I believe that goals should always remain approximate, if they are too rigid it can cause stress and sadness.. you are doing a brilliant job, you are getting there, so dwell on your success' and pop the truffles in the freezer just for a lil while more.. 'more power to yer elbow Mrs'

ooh, put the cool whip away! dangerous stuff :) but you know, you are so close to that 40 lbs, even if you can't get those last six out in time for your birthday, you should still feel proud of yourself!!
