Diario de higherthandead, 20 jun. 08

mom just went shopping to get my little brother stuff for his soccer camp - i asked her to bring home a bathroom scale.
finally.
lol.

so when i signed up for fatsecret, i knew last time i weighed myself i was 140 lbs. Then i went to WV over the weekend and while i was there, i weighed myself in my grandpa's bathroom, and got 136. even though i did do a two day exercise/fasting thing, i don't think i really lost four pounds over a week, i must've already lost weight since the last time i weighed myself. lol. just thought i should explain myself.

this pudgy roll under my belly button is annoying! and it always seems more noticable after i exercise? does anyone know why that is? and is exercising really going to get rid of that, or just make it worse? i'm confused as to why it seems to be getting bigger/worse.

i always feel like i have gained weight after i run. i asked one of my running coaches one time and he said that i had a buildup of lactic acid from running. idk if you get that from other types of excercises but mine always goes away after one or two days.

I have always had that pudge roll of belly fat and hate it too. It's way smaller than it was but still there. I need to exercise but hate it! It's not uncommon to lose 4 lbs in your first week of dieting. You might have really done that!

1. congrats on the 4 pounds! 2. i have that pudge too... it has plagued me for years 3. about the pudge, though... as you begin to lose weight, the pudge will diminish to next to nothing. for me, anyway, it seems to be mostly a function of diet (fewer calories = lower weight = less fat = YAY) but doing ab work also will make you feel better
