Day 3 of Fat Fast. I have SNATT (semi-nauseous all the time) now. Yesterday was easy..so easy I forgot to eat one 200 calorie meal. I made up for it this morning though...I had 2 tbsps peanut butter with 3 M&Ms only. I wont be eating the M&Ms anymore, but I have the shakes, and I swear I thought I was going to pass out in the shower. That faint feeling..probably because I dont eat after 5 pm..that is 15 hours w/o nutrition!

SO its only 9am...feeling better after eating and drinking...hopefully the day will get much brighter :)

Yesterday I had 2 cups of coffee with 2 tbsps of coconut oil, 2 oz of heavy cream, cinnamon, and splenda...then 2 handfuls of macadamia nuts. Thats it. Keep it simple.

Now....don't make me come over there!!! 15hrs without eating!! Need I say more (other than to be careful). I so admire yer determination all the same... 'mighty'.

what is the fat fast? It sounds like no eating? is that what it is?

its a fast from protein and carbs...a 80% or better yet 90% caloric intake of fat/day...for 3-5 days (for me anyhow) of 1000 cal/day. It sure isnt eating much, you are right Fleming. But WHO WANTS to eat a lot on this fast? YUCK! The only reason I ate this morning was to curb my nausea and dizziness...which seemed to work mostly..and Im chugging lots of water b/c I dont want to get dehydrated..and Im taking lots of vitamins..only for less than a week..then Ill gradually add back protein and veges in that order

can't you try the tuna, or chicken with mayo, or the eggs with mayo? How about the Oscar Mayer weiners (all meat, no nitrate and -1 carb)? Macadamia nuts, anyone?? you're on a liquid fat fast diet...I don't know how you do it. cream cheese mixed with HC and s/f chocolate syrup will take care of the sweet tooths too. I hate to do this to ya, (soundin' all know-it-all'ish) but it sounds like you're moving tooooo fat for body to keep up. The suggestion in the book is to add another small allowed meal into your daily intake.

:) I am very much admiring your effort...sorry I failed to mention that! I know how hard you're working and you deserve the medal for the day! In fact, anyone that does Fat Fast should win a tatooed stripe across their forehead for COURAGE! lol

Thanks BadAndee :) I love your pic, btw! Im not on a liquid fast..or trying not to be.. I just thought it was easy enough to throw the coconut oil in the coffee..but Ive nuked it for a few seconds and ate the nuts in the oil that way too. Did I mention that Im a bit light-headed and nauseous? Im going to do 6 meals today (Im using the M&Ms as 2 meals b/c I had 2 tbsp of peanut butter with em)..havent even had a cup of coffee yet. I did have a few more M&Ms to ease up on the symptoms..Im not craving them..just trying to take the edge off.

oh my poor baby...you are seriously crashing hard! there were a few times on the FF that I lost track of time and felt the whole wobbley-knee, nauseous and weak, thing! Yuck! I noticed that during one bad episode, I ate 2 scrambled eggs with mayo added and one of those weiners. Within an hour, I felt like a new human being! get some protein into you so that you can get a handle on it again. It's like bull-riding! you sit on top, not on the side! :)

I agree with BA, have some zero carb tuna or egg yolks with mayo. Isn't that simple?? I just don't want you passing out. Kudos on the self-control, but I'm a little worried about you.

SO I feel like a million bucks now! Its b/c I ate and took my vitamins and drank a gallon of water! Im only allowed 25-50 gms of protein/day...I can make that work...maybe Ill sneak in a bite of meat tonight! But its not the lack of protein that makes me sick..Im sure its the deep state of ketosis coupled with the 3-4 gm of carbs perday. BA, Im glad you felt the nausea too. SNATT got me good this morning! Im going to try to save 200 calories for right before bed (my nuts)..so that should fix that! Dont be worried Sara; Im fully capable of dumping this crash diet if I dont like it! Im an expert at tossing diets, remember? That being said, thanks for caring! For now, I seek comfort that BA had a similar episode, and I will try to prevent the same tomorrow what happened this morning! I will prevail!

I know you're smart...I'm just feeling motherly. :) Maybe you were just dehydrated, being in such heavy ketosis maybe you were a little toxic and just needed to flush it out. Glad you feel better. :) ((HUGS))
