I need help. The hardest part for me to try to get healthy is not the exercise. It’s the meal prepping. It’s the cooking. Not a bad cook. I just don’t like it. I would like to know if someone else goes through this, and how are you managing to do the meals. Thank you for your feedback

Don't know where you live, but I'm some areas you can get healthy meals delivered for reasonable prices. My sister did it for years when she was working. Google meal delivery or meal pickup in your area and see what comes up. Good luck!

It all depends on what you like to eat. For example I eat a lot of the same things as meals and change up my fruits and snacks. That's just me. For example I'll spend one day cooking up a bunch of chicken breasts, and then the rest of the week I'll pop a bag of frozen veggies in the microwave, heat up chicken, and pick my carb. Having a plan for the week will also help. I guess what I am trying to say is pick one day in the week where you meal prep for the rest of the week.

Meal prepping (either by cooking or ordering) will also help set you up for success. Because when your hungry you will have a healthy meal all prepared rather than looking for something to eat and going the easy, unplanned route.

Yes!! You get to eat more delicious food if you meal prep BUT there are ways to eat right without cooking they're just not as pleasurable. Do they have Costco where you are?

I would set aside an afternoon to cook and freeze some meals. Then I would have some "lazy" foods. Also try to buy in things that go together. Such as pasta and tomatoes and olives. Maybe weigh out and pack individual portions, even of the dry foods, so you don't guesstimate when you cook pasta or rice for example. Don't buy in things you know you have no self control over. But buy plenty of fresh veg. Good luck!

I guess everyone has got their own technique, I don't waste my afternoons on cooking. So never freezing stuff, always fresh. Not a huge cooking lover either here, so everything I do is extremely simple. A lot of salads (you can take a look at my journal) and things that do not take much time like fish/meat, and tons of veggies. Good luck!
