Hi everyone. It's been forever since I've been on, life has been pretty busy. I started back to school and we also renovate property and currently have two houses going at the same time, plus I also started grad school! It's been stressful and I've been trying to eat well and follow the plan. Some days are better than others. If I prepare things ahead of time it seems to be much easier. I also went grocery shopping and keep things in my classroom to make it easier. I have a 'fridge and microwave in there which really helps. The worst was yesterday, I went to a birthday party and gave in and had half a slice of cake. The sugar gave a headache, which really made me regret it. Then I felt horrible about myself, but at least on the bright side it was only half a slice and not the whole thing right? :) I have been really steady and can't seem to break 136 lbs. At least I'm not going up. It's been so hard adjusting to these new changes in the past month, I haven't really exercised. If I could just fit that in I know I'd probably see better results.

I teach special education preschool. The technical name for my class is "an integrated preschool classroom." My kids are between the ages of 3-6 and we integrate typically developing peers with the special needs students. Last year was my first year of teaching and I had everything under the sun happen to me. Most significantly, I had a little guy with seizures; I had to call EMS for him three times last year. After one of the times he was life-flighted and in the critical care unit for four days. There's always something going on in my classroom! It definitely keeps me on my toes! I was going to get my masters in Speech and Language Pathology but I wound up going for the generic Curriculum, Assessment and Instruction. Hope I don't regret it later. So far the hardest thing has not been eating snack with the kids. I always used to and said it was for good modeling. hmm...Nice excuse, huh? :)
