I'm very happy, getting into the groove of things. This diet makes perfect sense to me, as its more natural. All that stuff everyone is taught to eat, like boxed cereals and all manner of white wheat products, is so highly processed and takes so much effort to produce. I mean, we don't notice it on the buyers side, we just lob it into our shopping carts, but just think about how many things that grain of wheat went through. Farming on a gigantico corporate field probably, with pesticides lobbed onto it and all sorts of horrible other fertilizers, including dead cows and junk. Then there is the money it takes to harvest it, probably done not by anybody we might ever know or meet. After it is harvested in huge amounts, it has to be shipped and ground in a factory, sifted and bleached and put in huge bags. Then off by trucks that use of tons of fuel to a warehouse for storage. Then again its shipped by huge trucks to the factory to be mixed up with additives and fake substances, sugars, probably that horrible high fructose corn syrup which all the experts say just fattens you up. Then it is pressed into the forms and baked and in factories that are pretty tough places to work. Lots of people work there, by are they even getting a living wage. I guess I don't know that part. Then they have to be put through a big production factory for packaging after the boxes arrived from trees that shouldn't have been cut down to begin with. Anyhoo, the point is? Why all this effort? It keeps going on and on if you think about it. Then we eat it and BLAM, we get fatto!
