Well, I'm not sure how I feel about this. After weighing in, I noticed that my default daily exercise (work, rest, sleep) is now burning less than 5,000 calories a day! It makes sense -- I'm lugging around less of ME so I'm burning less calories, but I have to pay more attention now because I'm going to burn less just being me.

I wanted to address your comment on the poll I sent you. Just because you don't exercise alot, does not mean in ANY way that you are letting our team down. You have lost 10 pounds... That amazing. We are proud to have you on our team, and we wouldn't trade you!

Thanks! I found a little exercise program that you're supposed to do daily and is supposed to only take fifteen minutes. My goal at the moment is to fit that in where I normally just do a bit of browsing in the morning. That way I get my exercise in before the shower anyway.

after reading this I went and looked at my exercise journal and at my weight aprox 150 lbs I burn about 1700-1800 calories a day (with exercise!). Thank goodness we adjust as we get better at this healthy eating stuff. You are doing fantastic with your weight loss, your chart is showing that you consistantly lose weight and that is PERFECT! I found it easier to just fit in some exercise during my day in small pieces. It doesn't have to be all at once. Every time I go into the bathroom I would 10 wall pushups when leaving the room. In the kitchen while waiting for the microwave or a pot to boil, I do backward lunges while holding on the the counter top. while watchin tv at night I get on the floor and do leg lifts. just try to fit some in when you can, it all adds up. Im also discovering that the more exercise I fit into my day, daily... the more I find it becoming a habit and the more I want to add to it, or find something harder to do. When I started doing leg lifts I could only do 10 of them and it hurt to to them, now I can do 50 and not feel a thing. all while on the floor watching tv!
