Yeah just sneak some snacks in your purse. You'll do fine. But I do know what you mean about chocolate covered carmel. Oh my. Take some pork rinds, pepperoni, or something like that. I know it isn't the same but it is something you can snack on. I posted on my journal earlier today how I make cheese crackers. You just take Krafte Deli Deluxe American cheese. Break it into 16 squares (I fold it in half, then in quarters and then take each quarter and fold in half and quart again. Makes 16 squares). Place a piece of parchment paper on the plate in your microwave. Arrange the cheese in circle around the outside of the plate. Microwave for 1 minute. They turn into crunchy little crackers. I like them.
