Diario de JMA312, 12 may. 10

I have had something on my mind for a little while and wanted to get it down.
I am using this journal as a tool to help motivate, to help keep track, to know where I have been and where I'm going.
We had a recent challenge in BC that really caused me to open my eyes. Not just the challenge did it, but I've noticed that since BC my life has developed into a better place for me to be. I'm more in control of other aspects of my life. I have a very stressful job and life (as I'm sure many do) but I feel I can better cope with daily pressure. It doesn't go away but I see things in a different light. I don't feel the need to 'sugar coat' things, to escape with food or drinking. I don't feel like I need to have a 'treat' in the form of candy, cookies or other food/drink that really does not 'fuel' my body. No longer do come home from a difficult day and groan and moan and eat myself into a stuper, that is a past that I want to remember but not relive, I will not go back.
Yes, all this is common sense; eat right, exercise, moderation if you choice to drink, etc. BUT it never really clicked with me until now. I really feel this is part due to BC, the leaders, the comaradeire of the members our mission to succeed and also part due to that I am ready, I am ready to be True to me, to my woe to my group. Happy to be here, Happy to be making the changes that are making me a better person!
