I've done this so many times, and I wish I could find a way to STICK TO IT! I have depression, I'm also not the healthy eater, meaning I'll eat everything that is not a fruit or vegetable. I work two jobs, one where I sit for just about 8 hours a day, and one where I stand for three hours and basically ring people up at the register, all the while complaining, about how much I hate that job.

While many people FIND me attractive, I dont FEEL attractive. I have an ass that attracts more attention than I do, and I need to GET RID OF IT! ASAP!!!

I have a gym membership, and have recently taken an interest in yoga and meditation as a way of de-stressing, doing the whole candles and incense while listening to soothing soundscapes on the TV. I cant say I follow any of it to a T, but whatever I'm doing, must be something right since my supervisor recently praised my good work and "changes" in recent weeks..... But that's only at work.

I want to look AND feel better about myself, I want to turn heads, I want to cross paths with my ex one day and hear him say DAMN!! and have the pleasure of FEELING that I've won, and he wont have me back regardless.

With that said, I need motivation, I need the push, I need the constant reminders of what I have waiting for me at the end of this tunnel. I find myself lacking in those areas. Only excited and motivated for a day or week, until it wears off, and im right back to doing all the things I should NOT be doing. Also doesnt help that my friend takes me out to eat alot as well!

So there it is in a... nutshell? Now I just want all your inputs and comments and remarks...

Eating healthy and exercise will do a lot for you self esteem and depression. There must be some fruits and vegetables you like. You can also find ways of sneaking them in to your diet with some planning (fruit smoothies, soups, etc.). Use the caloric calculator and find a good caloric range for yourself. Try to plan your meals around healthy foods, but leave room for some of the stuff you like as a treat. Your eating habits can be changed. It just takes time and practice. You can eat out, but need to learn to make healthier choices. You can order something and get a box right away. Put half the food in the box for another meal and you already halve the calories. There are many sites where you can look up what to order before you go out so you can plan your day around it. Get a cooler and pack it with plenty of healthy foods for you day and take it with you. You have to do this for yourself and to be healthy. Everything else is just icing on the cake. Good luck!
